I’m really excited to say that I’ve finally confirmed a day to start releasing my digital graphic novel Gorboline’s Quest – January 6, 2026. This means a whole lot of new comics in your inbox in the new year!
(January 6 is Gorboline’s birthday. Yes, this predates the January 6. Much like Michael Bolton in Office Space, I’m not giving it up just because of the association.)
Gorboline’s Quest is a graphic novel that will be released in episodes. Starting in January, and going through the end of April, I will release 2-4 comics a week. After that, there will be a 3-6 month break, and then the second half of the graphic novel will be released.
Sometime in 2026 / 2027…there will be print copies of Gorboline’s Quest. Do I have any practical way to make this happen, yet? No, but I’ve spent too long on this project to not put it in print.
Gorboline’s Quest was written with both new readers and people who’ve followed this comic since 2018 in mind. I hope those who read it with the context of what came before will appreciate certain call-backs and themes, but it’s also meant to be approachable as a brand-new reader. 
I have so deeply enjoyed getting a chance to really build out the characters of this comic more, and explore their interiority and relationships, while also packing in as many jokes about beets as I can. I had a delightful time making Gorboline’s Quest, and I hope you have a delightful time reading it too.
